I am sure the conversion on the 98 would be easier but how difficult would the 2000 be to swap. I can get it cheaper and probably can't afford both.

do the 2000 if it's cheaper...98's aren't as nice...and believe me a gen 2 250 conversion has got to be as easy as pie...especially with all the info you can find on this forum...i'd go 2000!!!! buy it and start the damn thing!
