"motor and tranny checked out great, great compression".....this translates to: he doesnt know a fuggin thing about the bike or how it works, so he payed $300 and the dipshits at the dealer looked at it breifly, mind you the jackass at the dealer probly has no experience with cr500 either. i'd offer $1000 becasue you know the piston is scored and tranny bearings will need replacing
....good chance it has a JB welded kicker too

I've bought 10 bikes and quads in the last year, each one from CL. Ebay is full of jokers, both sellers and buyers.
Just counted, it's actually 14. CL is the shiznit

There is an 89 and a 90 on CL here right now 1200 or offer for both bikes. Craigs List is way better place to buy bikes. Sometimes you can even find parts too.
