hi, been working long hours, now finally had a chance to start my 450 2007 conversion, ive cut out the y, lifted it, put in donor cr 500 motor to mock up, placed in position solid billet pieces, than tryed on new pro circuit pipe, it doesnt snug upto the barrell, it clips the y slighty. at the bottom left where the pipe curls towards the mag cover, anybody had anyissues with pipes on here? any advise welcome;;;;

I can't say that your problems are my problems as well. I went w/an FMF pipe and my build is from a 125.
I read that people have had good success w/an FMF (gnarly) pipe. So that's what I got. Then I found out that most people prefer using a Pro Circut.
Anyway, my pipe fit pretty good, but not perfect (to me it was terrible). I chopped up a new pipe to make extra clearance in all the right places. I band sawed through the main welds and shaved off what I needed w/a belt sander. Now the stinger runs parallel w/the frame and it plugs straight into the silencer.


I just need to TIG it back together..
