The staging area is really at the " Troy Meadows Overflow" staging area.

Its the same place as last year for those who attended.

Its just past the "Kennedy Meadows" area......

... I can post on this board. Whaahooooo. Anyhow, i believe Jim, Mike and myself will be there(all CR500 riders). We plan on arriving on Thursday in the afternoon. Is anybody else going on Thursday? We are going to try and save the same camping area as last year. Hey, Lewis are you going to bring that bohemouth trailor again? That thing was huge. If so we'll try to save that same strip for you. I don't have that much firewood, anybody else bringing some? It gets chilly at night.

Located 53 miles northeast of Kernville via Mtn. 99 and Sherman Pass Rd. (22S05), or 34 miles west of Hwy. 395 via Nine Mile Canyon Rd. (J41). Paved roads; 73 units including 10 suitable for RV's up to 20'; restrooms; piped well water; no trash collection. Elev. 7,800 feet. Open Jun. to Nov. $5 per night fee.

Temporary re-route begins at the intersection of where Jackass Creek Trail intersects Albanita/Jackass Road 21S01, north of Fish Creek overflow, continuing 3 miles north to a short crossover trail from Albanita/Jackass Road, back to the open portion of the Jackass Creek Trail. (5.5 miles)

RESTRICTIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION
Street legal OHV's are permitted on any Forest Service system road.

OHV's licensed with green stickers are permitted ONLY on designated OHV trails and on the following roads: Sherman Pass 4X4 Road 33E48; Monache 4X4 Road 34E38; Troy Meadow or Sam Lewis Road 21S97; Fish Creek Overflow Road 22S05F; Albanita Road 21S01; and Bear Trap Road 21S19.

ATV"s are restricted to Monache 4X4 Road 34E38 and Sherman Pass 4X4 Road 33E48 ONLY. ATV's must be trailered to each trailhead.

All OHV roads and trails are maintained by "'GREEN STICKER" program funds.

Please TREAD LIGHTLY and report current trail conditions to the
Blackrock Visitor Information Station.
