15 Tooth Countershaft
Also, a 15t counter will not fit on a 01 500. Tried this on Stoffers when we went to Jawbone in Feb. You would have to do some grinding on the case to make it work and I really wouldn't want to do that. My old 88 it went right on with plenty of room. I can't remember if it hit the case but there was no way a chain was going in there, regardless of size. Kinda weird

Hagendog is right on.
I rode Sudco Johns 450 a couple of weeks ago and I could see that I would be faster given 6 or 7 rides on one. Did I say 500 Glen Helen starts are awesome.
Maybe we should have a central ride day, I say central meaning, jumpy Racetown or not so jumpy Competive Edge.
Just for fun mind you.

My bike is completely stock as well. No need for Stoffers to prove anything, we have ridden together many times, and nothing he owns even comes close to stock!! HAHAhagendog wrote: M.F.D.B I believe Hagendog and Stoffers are going to have to come play with you. My bike is stock btw...

I run 2 masterlinks when needed! Don't be scarred!!!FZ1426 wrote:It would just bug me. Maybe a holdout from bad memories from my early days of the dreaded worn out master link coming loose and ruining a weekend riding trip. It seems the master link is the weakest link, and having two doubles the chance of a problem. Maybe something I oughta get over but it just seems kinda cheesy to me. Like, if you can't afford the right size chain maybe you should get a cheaper hobby...M.F.D.B. wrote:Why not?? You have ONE aleady right??FZ1426 wrote: I sure as hell wouldn't run two master links

Big Worm might have 2 show u ladies how it's done, if your lucky!hagendog wrote:I race/run 14/49 on my bike, haven't been beat by a 450 to the first turn yet. I am not the fastest guy out there but in the B class, not the A a 500 is hard to beat. Inside lines on everything and you can seat bounce 80' jumps real easy. Most guys on the 450's don't do that. The only time I wish I had a 450 is on the 5th lap when it's hard to hold on. I ride with a lot of 450's and have riden my share of them too. Rider ability has everything to do with this... you're dealing with lots of power from either bike. I would say I am faster on a track overall on the 450 but that is due to the fact I can corner so much faster on one. I am going to make one of these trips to the sand and see what all the fuss is about. I get off the line good, love the woops and use all the bike has to offer so ....... and don't weigh 300lbs. Sorry Bob and Jay! M.F.D.B I believe Hagendog and Stoffers are going to have to come play with you. My bike is stock btw...
