Wheel weights

Post by Mad Dog »

I have some wheels sitting around so I decided to weigh them.
All these wheels fit my 02 Gen 3 A/F.
All these wheels were weighed on a digital bathroom scale in my garage
on the same spot on the same day.
You can make your own conclusions.

Stock 01 CR500 front wheel with 90/100 Bridgstone with H/D tube.
19.3 lbs.

Stock 07 CRF 450R front wheel with stock 80/100 742 Dunlop, stock tube.
17.2 lbs.

07 CRF 450X, Talon/Excel/ Splined stainless spokes 90/90 Michelin, tube unknown, wave rotor.
19.3

Stock 02 rear wheel with 110/90 X 19, Dunlop 739 with stock tube.
24.2 lbs.

07 CRF 450X, Talon/Excel/splined stainless spokes, 130/80 x 18 Michelin, tube unknown, wave rotor.
