Vegas/other desert people

I'm out here for work right now (if you see a white Michigan M-plated F350, honk and say hi!), this is the first time I've been to Arizona/Nevada in the summer months....how the fuck do you ride in this weather? It's like 110* out with God-awful sun load, dry heat or not I can't see how anybody could last out here for more than a couple hours on a dirt bike.

Does everybody wait until the evening to ride? Or does not a whole lot happen in the area from June-September?

I'm off to Flagstaff tomorrow, I know it's going to be much more pleasant up there...
