Just talked with the organiser (mal wessel) and i'ts gonna be the last weekend in october 27-28th, im supposed to be working that weekend but im gonna try to swing it off. Its a great ride in my back yard, last year there was a few miles of desert then a few of the baja truck course and some technical stuff in the hills. It cost $20 to enter and all proceeds go to toys for tots.
Its not considered a race and anything from peewees to sidehacks run it, you get a poker card at every checkpoint and the best hand wins the best prizes, its normally 2 laps of about 11 miles. You will need a sparky as they do check.
Lets make a weekend of it

I have riden this a couple of times in the past and it's A LOT of fun! I am going to try and schedule this ride. I believe I'll have my 9 year old son that weekend so he'll ride too. Looking forward to more info on this ride soon.

They have some stuff you drink before the intoxication begins that prevent you from getting a hang over. I don't remember the name and have never used it.
What are you going to dress like?

I'll be there with about 5 or 6 other people riding it.
Brit where would be a good spot to camp? I think we are heading out there Friday morning and staying all weekend.

We'll be there with the whole gang, quite a few of us! Leaving H.B. early afternoon on Friday.
Hey Brit- Where do they check for spark arrestors, at sign in?
Do they stick'em or just read the U.S. Forestry embossment?
Any other restrictions that they don't address on their website?
I have one bike that is green stickered if verified, but no green sticker actually on the bike, do they check?
Thanks for the help man!
