Engine serial #'s ???

Trying to figure out what year motor I have, been told its an 01 but want to make sure. Any body know the serial #'s for the motors or a link to figure it out.

If you listed YOUR serial number, that would help.....

That would be all together too simple, #5001747
is that 500/ 2001 /#747
