Glamis Hoonfest '08 November 6th-9th
Just a primer post to see about interest. The dates are not set in stone, if they work for you good, if not, post what will! Be nice to have a good turn out like last year, and a Pismo size turnout would be awesome! I want to camp at the washes again, best place for a big group, fireworks, big bon fires and major Hooning.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Mike depending on the conditions, the dunes can be a fluid place with pure heavy throttle action. Hopefully we can get a wind groomed dunes for this ride, which makes it the bomb. I also want to suggest Mike that you wear a full boot, not those quad boots that allow your calves to get fried like a sirloin.

We will have to see how this new job goes first, I believe I will be working Tues-Sat. Not sure how soon I will be able to get days off.
I will post up in the rides the dates for Dumont which I think will be the weekend BEFORE All Hallows Eve. That trip should be for sure (only 108miles from my door).
Mike, where all have you riddin in the sand at??

Those dates work great for me. IN. Probably a small croud to cause its after Hollyween. In fact I'm sure of it because of the Glamis board last year.
Mike I don't blame you for not liking sand, a lot of racers don't. But your in good hands with us. I think thats already known though.
I don't remember if you had a nobby on the front or not, if not get one of those spikie tires that Jay and I run, there great, those things stick so good for me, I wish the nob would work as well in the dirt as one of those do in the sand.
I'm gona have to pass on the Dumont trip as we will have just come back from Seattle.

Everywhere! I never said I don't ride in the sand or my bike didn't stick as a matter of fact it handles bitchen more horse power wouldn't hurt but, it has plenty to fill the fun factor. Given the choice of sand or track and trails 100 out of a 100 times I'd be in the dirt... I just love to ride!M.F.D.B. wrote: Mike, where all have you riddin in the sand at??
