Hes on the site now, ask him what the secret is. I bet he just has a "die" and heats the tank and the die and reforms it...

probably, but looking at Jon's tank, it looked like it was molded like that and did not look like oem plastic. looked to me like something custom from clark or ims...

Buy or build? GMX in the UK has alloy tanks, but they are - god bless the USD - expensive. But would mean one could then just modify to fit the CR500R engine. Want to help me mod my Acerbis tank?

alright... I keep hearing 4 letter words about my camera phone pics... with the camera shutting off after every pic I snapped a few. Here are some shots of marshalls frame and airbox and a couple of my completed bike.
Marshalls bike is using a gen-1 125 boot which seems to fit the best so far out of the gen-1,2 and 3 250 boots and '00 cr500 boot I tried. Mine is using a gen-1 250, which fits wll, but not as clean as the 125 one.

nope, marshall was asking me that today, you have to pull out the swingarm, remove all the motor mount bolts and slide the motor back to get the jug off.

my gen-1 can't do an inframe topend either, infact most a/fs can't. actually, my gen-4 has more room and is easier to get the motor out of than my gen-1.
