Ok I just got done rebuilding my top end .but now is runs like $hit and has a lot of plow back so i looked at the old piston and is a pro x and has a number on it hm50086 .does anyone know if this is a stock size or has it been bored !!!!!

THe piston size is on the top of the piston.. If you have a ton of blowby sounds like you got the wrong size piston..

you should NEVER have a jug bored without giving the piston to the machinist!!!!

If a machinist will bore it without the piston... RUN!

How did he know what to bore it to? WTF!!!!

What if the machinist misread the clearance and made it .03-.04 instead? I can't believe there would be a machinist out there that would do a bore without a piston.

I can feel .002 clearance all day long I can't believe someone actually put it together without noticing!

At the very least I would have a reputable machinist take a look at what you have and the condition of the jug.

Our "Approved Vendors" section offers guidance on who to use for rebuilds like yours.

Just to let you know I did not know that it was bored the guy that I bought it form did it and he did not tell me .
