I have given this alot of thought before I replied, so here goes. It's hard for me to get my point accross by just typing so bear with me. I razz Brit because we all are just really, "good old boys" having a good time either riding our bikes or talking on this site or what ever, simply having a good time. But before I got fuked up running cranes, I worked at a place called Sun Core, in Edmonton Alberta, for BP, and I also worked 138 miles South of New Oeleans once and 145 miles South West of of Biloxi Mississippi for Exxon. I worked for an outfit that made hammers for deep foundations, ie, bridges, buildings ect, we built pile driving hammers; even worked on the Embarcadaro bridge, where the earth quake fuked up all those people in San Fran. ( I can't spell for shit so bear with me), my point being that, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I agree with Brit. Natural gas comes from the top of oil "pockets", then the oil is pumped out. As for Sun Core, it simply leaches out of the ground into the sand, and is removed then refined. Anyway, I have had indepth conversations with suits from these places and they all very prominatly disclosed, that our country and all the rest should "seek" alternative fuels due to the fact that we have surpassed the bulk of oil and fossil fuels that the world has available. I have been there and been told directly by the upper echelon of major oil companies we are running out. Of course they won't say a word to the general public, because what would happen if the "Today" show said "oh by the way, gasoline will only be available for the next 2 or 3 years then we're all fuked!" Not that that is the case by any means, but the rate of population growth and the anount of which people consume fuel and oil we will run out, it is inevitable. They have been talking about using and manufacturing "alternative" fuels for 30 years or more now, just that no one listened. I don't mean to wright a damn story but it is going to happen. Also, I won't be selling any of my bikes or anything, in fact we should all ride more. One container ship going from here to China will pump out more carbon than all of the traffic in the US alone. Just my thoughts on this. What ever. Hey Brit, what it be like man!
