87 xr 600

Post by Travis »

What is an 87 xr 600 worth? I have a friend who offered me his for $600. It is not pretty by any means. Has a red tank, white fenders and blue seat. I does however have a big bore kit, fmf powerbomb header and supertrapp silencer. Took him forever to start it though. And it was loud as hell. It has had the swingarm streached about 3-4 inches and has nearly worn out tires. It has been a drag racer previously and has a kill switch on a rope and did sit right on the ground. It has since been raised back up and has newly rebuilt forks and shock. Let me know what its worth and I may try to trade around with him.

Ah well, my wife went Ape Shit when I mentioned getting it. She said why don't you wanna buy furniture or something. I told her I wanted a seat that would take me somewhere and she has been mad at me since. I think I have came to the conclusion that she hates Bikes.

My wife likes my quad. She just hates my bikes, Says "You are going to hurt yourself. Those are not made to ride on the road. Why don't you grow up already. You have kids you have to take care of." I just say "yes mother" and we fight a little then she starts in again the next day when I go outside and ride or start tinkering on one of em.
