I had to stop in Santa Maria last year to fill up. Man the mpg sucks in this truck.
And Sabre I try and flip a U'e and park paralell to the ocean, its harder to do when the tide is high, you could do the same and pull in behind me?
Yea thats what she wants is to park parallel to the ocean with the front door facing it. Which means I will have to do a u'e getting out. If all goes well I am bringing a 36' motorhome with a 12' trailer.
Yeah you really don't want the front door facing the Ocean.
hoofarteds pic is how I camped but without a picture window.
Getting there at low tide is easier for turning as the tide goes out pretty far. High tide for thursday is 3:15pm so it won't be down to far for my eta of 5pm.
I think what Jay's trying to get across is that one can't be to picky about it and just have to roll with it. Getting there as early as possible helps. Besides the atmospere of being there makes up for it.
Yea I told her we most likely won't be facing the ocean. What I probably will do is try to park like Jay is saying but pulling in straight and then backing out to head home. I figure for this beast it will be the best but what do you fellows think. I will just unhook the trailer and park it next to the motorhome.
Jay what are you talking about when you say setting up a tow? Is there a truck that comes by or something?
Hay sabreguy. in case of a tow talk to me(always willing to help)and justin(always willing to help). Justin doesnt drink, but i accept payments in beer, you'll have to talk to him on what his price is. This was ment as a cooperative pulling event bye the way

There's a couple of companies/trucks that hang out on the beach, use to be anyway. But with a group this size we can help each other. So maybe the early birds with need them?

Hey Arley - I think I may take u up on yur offer! But I need to check my available PTO from work. I used up my last 8 hrs on monday on a court appt. (nothing bad). Will know more next week...with regards to diesel, ARCO off 210/daycreek had it for 4.91 yesterday! The other spot I went to was off of Ramona/Foothill (I forget the name). They had it for 5.09 today. (Ugh). Valero in Ontario - Grove/some odd st..holt I think...had it for $4.99. What are your cross streets?

Yes, the fill is legal! State run, as in provided by the state for park use. Damn BIO is expensive! Same price for dino in Brentwood! Ack - I actually saw $5.75 in Studio City! Eff that.

Mine is part of my "rescue bag" thats always in my truck. Plus I still have that little one we pumped up Syd's tire with last year. I have a nitrogen tank but that only fills a few street bike tires before its done, ill check into getting CO2 or a scuba tank from my pops.
