hahahaha... Travis I forgot about the shock and I said "Nitrogen" not air... well did it work?
Mick I would have to absolutely agree it has nothing to do with who's bike you buy but, in your case it does seem you are kissing someone's ass or you would be making suggestions as to what AJ should have or could have said as well...don't you think? As for Trace's site I don't care where my donations go I gave it freely with no promises of anything and will continue to do so if I see fit. Granted both sites have haters and ass kissers but, defining this forum? I think not! Why aren't you saying that as well about Trace's site? Or even starting a topic there about this subject? It starts to invalidate your prior statements, opinions and suggestions as to where you stand.

I guess I underestimated the bad blood. I apologize for that. I actually got kicked off three times and have accumulated around 2000 posts on the other site under various names. I never went on a site ride mostly because of the distance factor and some what from the work that I do. I really wish I could of made some. I got into it with Bob a couple times mostly because I didn't "get it" I finally understood what he was doing about the time the end came of his member ship came around. The rule pertaining to current owner ship has changed although it seemed to be a secret. Bottom line I'm glad that this group is here, lots of laughs and good info.ShanMan wrote:thats what secondary players want to do!OK, I apologize if I don't remember you from a CR500riders.com ride (I was at the first three CR500Riders rides and one Banned ride at Jawbone) so I am going to assume you are new. That said, I sincerley hope you understand that the ONLY reason this site ever came to be was because Trace preaches a very mixed message on and off the board, and chooses specific times to be friendly and laxed and other times to be fairly militant and rigid. I don't know how many people from this board were actually banned from Trace's site, but I can assure you that those of us that were thought we were a little tighter friends to Trace than apparently we ever were.I don't get it?
I guess I wasn't really clear on that part. I would be amazed if it merged as the definition of merged. I think collaborated may be a better word. I just don't want to see the to other site go the way of Larry's. Ya there are some issues to be worked out but shit who or what doesn't have issues? I'm completely aww struck that such a nitch type of bike has so many great people standing behind it. Not only that but enthusiasm seems to be growing especially on the conversion front. That is where this forum stands head and shoulders above the other one. I can't say it enough you did a really great thing Bob!
Long story short...there is very little love between Trace and this bunch, and my guess is there is not any nor will there ever be any motivation to merge the sites, and more importantly, the personalities. Besides, this site better represents true CR500 enthuseasts in my opinion. Why? Because here, you can be someone curious about owning and riding a CR500 powered bike, or even be a previous owner with info and stories to share. You do not have to be a "current owner", which is rediculous and totally counterproductive in terms of promoting the continuation of the CR500 legacy.
Coulda woulda shoulda...can't make everybody happy. I thought AJ's comments were valid. I thought Mikes were as well. I suggested that maybe AJ was upset because he pays to advertise and Mike doesn't. Mike says he does in fact donate so I said I could see no reason why he can't advertise in any manner he so chooses. So where's that leave me? Why can't Mike say what the hell he wants and what the hell do sponsors and supporters get for their contributions? Locked topics? I feel a slight injustice here...but these matters don't concern me. So you aren't going to see me start topics on either board bitching and crying about someone not being fair. And I do think there are a good number of haters and ass kissers on each site. Maybe not so many as to actually difine either forum, but a good many still. I'm really just a hater myself trying to play nice. Fuck Honda, big oil, the AMA, California, matter of fact screw everybody! Because I don't want to forget to fuck somebody and leave them out by mistake.

We were talking about nitrogen in your tires and in your explanation you suggested putting air in a shock. That's when someone else chimed in thinking I would actually do it and hurt myself. That's what the air in the shock thing was about.![]()
