Hay dudes on the dark side
Hi guys, some will know me from the light side so here I am on the dark.
I hope my warped way of thinking gets you all going. Hay we are CR500 riders so I believe that make you wrong to start with.
This is me as a lad 18 years ago, now I am bald with the bike on the bench under repair.

AlisoBob I suppose the reference to dark side is due to the banned reference and I suppose the circumstances of this sites origination, exile.AlisoBob wrote:I dont understand all the "Darkside" talk....
WE are the enlightened ones....
We are not kept from the truth, we expose it.
We write our own history, not live in a "revised" version of it.
We express our opinions DAILY, not in 1 thread out of thousands.
We are the true keepers of the flame.
I agree with you, openness, honesty, transparency, acceptance & freedom is enlightenment and a bad word or subject in the right/ fair context is necessary, when well executed.
Writing your own history, Yep where is heaven, its here now and being fair, Oh with a CR500.
Mate, happy to be on board and I have carried this flame since 1986 when I bought my CR500.

Ou812, yep, since new, I posted these on another site but they are worth posting again. How long have you had yours? Or is that how many bikes?ou812 wrote:Welcome, are you the original owner of that bike?
I case you didn’t know all bikes came with a initial spare parts kit, I think the dealers keep most of them. I got mine because mine came in a factory box.

Teemtrubble, good to see you here.teemtrubble wrote:Welcome! Are those Scott boots your wearing?
No they are Roberts boots. I loved them. Years later one disintegrated into powder, the right leg. The only reason I can figure what had happened was; I raced a bit of speedway and the boot filled up with methanol on the start line once. I was about to gate and my leg was going hot and cold. The old Jawa had two fuel lines and line had come off and was filling it up.
I think methanol and plastic don’t get on.
Power_Stand great to see you over here.
Dark side=The smart side in this case. You'll always get the truth around here whether you want to hear it or not.
That picture is awesome I've loved my 85' since I got it. I can't imagine how cool it would have been to un-box a new one back in the day.
Post up some of those jokes that got removed on the other site. Everyone around here is up for a laugh
