Dam  I didn't know about this.

"6/5/2008 - LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Distorted data introduced by a B-2 Spirit's air data system skewed information entering the bomber's flight control computers ultimately causing the crash of the aircraft on takeoff at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 23, according to an Air Combat Command accident investigation report released today."

In typ' gov fashion, = "Computer virus"

Now how does a ship give itself a virus

Looked like just plane shitty flying and shitty decision making. I'm thinking that pilot can be blamed for both. Then he didn't even have the balls to ride it out. Stalled flared out of the stall in the ground effect and was gaining altitude and ejects. What kind of sissy high paid pilots is the government paying. I know in the real days of flying a ship of that caliber was manned until the end. An ejection on the runway....come on!!

 How high does the seat ejector throw you?I wonder if he was a experienced pilot, seems like he gave up on it rather quickly but there is alot of factors for pilots to consider I work at the airport in town here see planes taking off & landing everyday, heard hundreds of stories from pilots, they have to make choices at times sometimes its the right choice sometimes its wrong, mind you we don't get military jets like that here,First Air comes in with a ATR-4200 & Canadian North with a Dash-8 we get lots of Kingair Beech 100/200/99's,Twin otters, cessna's,numerous helicopters.I came in on thursday night for a callout for First Air's L382 Super Hercules,My boys were here with me,the pilot asked if they wanted to see the cockpit so we went out and checked it out,he let my boys sit in the captains seat  ,anyways I was trying to say the only person who knows why he did it would be the captain, was there a detailed report released or is it confidential due to it being a military incident?
