The kicker doesn't look right for a 500 and the hole in the silencer looks too small to be a 500 also. But thats not to say that someone couldn't have cobbled those parts onto one. That pipe look a lot like a 500 pipe but its hard to say with out seeing the front because the older 250 had a high style pipe like that too.

I don't think it's a 500 because the kicker looks to curved for an early 500. That pipe is definetly a pc or fmf, and looks to neck down to much to be a 500 also.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

I just talked to him again. He said "a few guys came to look at it and said nooooo way". So, I think it might be a 500, and I'm going to Tampa look at it right now. He said, "make an offer, I want it gone". I'll let y'all know when I get back

It's definitely a 500 and I own it now. I offered him $200 and he took it!!!!!
It has good compression, I'm tearing into it as we speak with a twelver to see what I have to work with.

Top end is clean and recently rebuilt, the cylinder still has nice crosshatch and a Wiseco .060" piston, no holes drilled though.
I'll flush everything tonight and start her up tomorrow.
Not too sure about this hack job though.

Thats an awesome find for $200. I knew that kicker looked funny in the other picture
Is the exhaust funny too or was it just a camera trick in the other picture?
At any rate for $200 you can afford to fix a few things right

I'm not sure about the exhaust, there are no markings. It looks like a stock 500 silencer, only half as long.
