ok when i took my motor apart for some bullshit powdercoating. i was tapping on the crank rod to get it loose. anyway putting it back together and discovered while putting the gear that spins the waterpump that i had bent it a little. it tried to get the gear on but no go. it might with some needle files and some love but i dont want any unballanced stuff in there. my question is where to get a crank assy. i guess i cant really expect to attemp a job like this for the first time and not fuck something up. just so happens it the most expensive shit i could fuck up in there. go figure. the sad part is i know better than to hit threads or grooved gears like that. im a fucking tard. haha

This is one of those
! moments my friend Frank here works on Aircraft yes the type you pay to fly on so he knows damn well not to put a hammer to a crank assembly to take it a part! but, then again most of us wouldn't take pain killers and drink Vodka while splitting the cases for the first time.. except Brit of course. Alright I had my fun. hahahaha!
Ok post those pic's bro.

I think so too, but....... WTF DID YOU DOOO!!?!?!?!
for future reference, IF you ever HAVE to bang on a splined or threaded shaft, either use a soft block in between, like a scrap block of aluminum, or find a deep socket that will fit over it and contact at the base.. that sucks dude!
Id just take the grinder to the flared part until it fits.
