OK Knobber.

That bike was my second true MX bike and had tons of fun on it, espeically by the dam up from Steiners place. If you saw the Deepcreek pic, from there where I'm fourth pinned in about 3" of water, feet up on the front fender, thats the bike. Somehow I managed to trade the 76 one and $800 to get it from a guy who was a dam fast racer. Later on 3rd started jumping out of gear. Two gears later I was good again. Also this was the one where I learn about needle jetting partly because it didn't do what a stocker would do and I found out why.

That bike probably cost $1300 new back then. The 76 one I had was $1250 otd.

Good find.

IMHO polishing all those parts is not "restoring"
Wouldn't a collector want a bike that is 100% authentic looking?
And why spend all that time and money and not install a new choke knob?
Brit's queer

Didn't have one. It also did not have an idle screw.
