No, I have a new Viper and it isn't any longer wearing than a Hooker. The paddles are reinforced a bit for less flex, but they will wear out fast if ridden in the dirt. Of course hillclimbers don't care about that because they just put another tire on when the one they are using is worn out, it' a pay to play sport. I just switch tires out depending on where I'm riding. Or in the case of my steelie, I have seperate rims with different tires.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

ya, saw that
happens on ebay all the time...I see people drop like $40 and a K&S shitty gasket set, when OEM from SH is cheaper
people are dumb, and that was just a reminder!

my buddy used those pirelli "dirt paddles" last year at widowmaker, they worked awesome to get through the loose powder at the start of the hill but up in the rocks it got chunked up pretty bad, after the 2nd run it was missing a lot of knobs.

The choice of most 500cc climbers is a 12 paddle DOMINATOR $113.00 plus shipping no carcas needed. The 2nd choice of 500 cc climbers is a 12-paddle VIPER $113.00 plus shipping no carcas needed. But if they run out of CALIFORNIA the most of them run a DOMINATOR 12-14-16-18-paddles with bolts $$$$ ,The rule book from NAHA describes how to build one. But if any of you saw (TEAM GSS) Bike #43 run at Glen Helen JOHN HOWELL finished 18th in the 451-700 class He took 2nd place in the VETS CLASS.The tire he was using was a chain tire $200.00 plus shipping no carcas needed That I built 32 years ago it has ran on many different bikes so you can see they never wear out (THEY WORK GOOD IN SAND WITH FLPPERS ALSO),He got over 4 times on sat.and 2 times on sun.at the GLEN HELEN CLIMB. The choice of (TEAM GSS) is 12-paddle DOMINATORS and CHAIN TIRES.Glen (TEAM GSS) #42 NAHA
