my question is, how long will it take before some redneck who can no longer afford to fill his tank grabs his .308 bolt action and gets the oil company CEOs in his crosshairs!
I'm already spending over $400/mo on gas! :x

In 2+ YRs Gas will be $15/Gal it was said - Time to buy a Mini Cooper !!!!!!!!!!

Our Trucks will be absolutely worthless soon - Walmart will be King as we all have to buy a Bicycle from them to get where you want to go

Sell all your toys while you can!

You won't be able to afford to ride soon! Our world of commuting to a ride spot will be crushed by the people who control the worlds oil supply and the Toy Hauler world will come to an abrupt END.....and Mike Thompsons and Giant RV will soon be out of BUSINESS !!

Save your self from the impending DOOM !!

SELL ALL NOW! as your toys will not be worth 10% soon as no one wil be able to use them.

post note: Maybe there will be LESS $100K sand cars to contend with - an expensive toy INDEED.

ya, I'm seriously thinking about making my gen-4 street legal because my 12MPG f-150 is already too expensive to drive to work everyday!
The wife wants a Mini, I was thinking when she starts making some money at work trading in her expedition for the mini. As of right now I would spend more in payments and insurance than the difference in gas, but if it keeps climbing, that may change!

 $10 a gallon, and I thought I had it bad @ $5.85 a gallon, our gas comes in by barge every September, the territorial government sets the price then based on what they pay for it,it is supposed to remain the same until the next year but over the last couple years there has been increases sometimes twice a year, when I moved here 7 yrs ago it was $20.25 for 5 gallons today it is $29.24.

If gas will be $10 a gallon, what will the aternative fuel/electricity cost?
You can bet it won't be much cheaper, but the government will make it seam like a good deal.

It went up 10 cents per gallon overnight here. I paid $4.01 per gallon yesterday for 93 octane and the same station today is selling it for $4.11.

This crap is getting crazy. As a business we are spending almost $3.5k a month in gas. And with the economy the way it is, and other contractors (unlicensed mainly) charging riduculous low prices, forcing us to lower our prices, while having to increase payroll (so our employees can afford to live), material prices are sky high, we will be very lucky is we manage any profit what so ever. My brother and myself have already cut our pay in half, doubt we'll have any bonus's either. And we have plenty of work, thats not the problem. Something going to have to change, soon, or we are all in trouble.

thats what my bro was tellin me.. 01 f350 longbed with the 7.3 and lifted. 100 bucks barely netted him a 1/2 tank. Then he found a gas station that screwed up their prices and filled up the rest for 3.83 or something to that effect :P
