Hello From DFW TX

Post by KE 336 »

I found this place a couple of weeks ago and have found lots of good info and also entertainment. I've been wrenching for my 22yo son and 19yo daughter for about 10yrs now. They both race in a xc series here in TX.
Planning on a 03 crf450 conversion in the next couple of months.
I've already swapped a few emails and had a nice phone conversation with mr. teem trubble. I can tell he's not doing just your average conversion. He's also a super nice guy even if he doesn't like pianos!
BTW I found the other site also, didn't take me long to figure out where I belong. Anyway, hello.

Howdy Ken,
Was starting to wonder if I was the only one in Texas with CR500s. I've got an '02 CRF450R conversion done by MPS and if you need some pictures or measurements, let me know. I live down by Galveston but get up your way usually about once per month for work.

Hey jbird, thanks for the offer. I don't have the donor 500 yet. Still scouting a good one of those. I do have the 450 roller already. Got a couple of 250s in the garage I need to unload and create some building room. I'll probably look you up in the near future as there are a couple of items i'd like to peak at on your bike.
