Gen 3 Silencer of choice

Post by mega491 »

What is the silencer of choice behind a Pro Circuit Platinum as far as closest fit in the Gen 3/91 500 power combo.

Service Honda sells and uses the modified PC units. I have one on my gen 3 250 conversion and it rocks.

If you read a "short story" in politic's and activism and email me or call me about a Pro Circuit product you'll recieve a 10% discount on Service Honda's retail price!

I guess you haven't been keeping up on things Terrance

No matter it's a winning situation for everyone here and you get the best product and they bolt on SH's bikes too!!!!!

It's no secret you'll get the best customer service, the best price as well as huge discounts on OEM Honda parts not to mention our "World class" conversions.

How was that fella's or should I have saved that for the approved vendors section? :spank:

Are you saying that you sell the modified A/F pipe and silencer like the one service honda does? The one that fits a cr500 engine and bolts directly on to a A/F?

I got the FMF pipe and silencer from SH and it fits perfect. IMO this set up is very good for my kind of riding. I'm not sure if you could mix-match a PC pipe and FMF silencer but either way that would be kind of corny. I think your real question is, What pipe do you need for your kind of riding? The PC is gonna set real close to your rad hose as where the FMF is not even close. I think both are great pipes and have had both but I need the low end grunt of the FMF for the trails I ride.

No, it wasn't a waste of 5 minutes. What a crock. If my fmf hat didn't have the stars and stripes on it, I'd burn it. That makes things simple though. Any other companies we need to be aware of??
