A good friend of mines father survived the sinking of the Gambier Bay.

The book, "The men of the Gambier Bay" is a pretty good read. Check it out if you can find it.
Kalkaska, the inbred capital of Michigan. ....a place you can walk into the greeting card aisle and find one that reads "Happy Birthday Uncle Dad"
