Amazing that you are talking about hot weather and summer down time. Here, the season has just begun. In fact today is the first rains of the monsoon season, and we had alittle snow. Nice tire, you got a good deal on that baby!
I have to get my subframe welded and start on the 2 gen4s and when I get my motor from bigjay I'm gonna split the cases and go though everything, even blast the cases so it will look nice in my gen4!!!
I need some extensions, where did you get those?
Oh and I FINALLY ordered plastics for the gen1 yesterday

either that or give galfer a call and they will custom make you one... Just tell em you need a rear brake cable for a cr500 stock fittings just give them the new length..
Mine's pretty much done, I'll try the paddle tire next time out at the dunes, and I might put a set of forward risers on it as well. I could use far more improvement as a rider before doing any motor work, and the suspension's already been revalved/resprung.
i still have another project in the works (new motor and chassis combo), and a couple steps up in HP than what most are doing around here . not sure on a finish date- my shit wages aint doing a good job funding it
i want to get my motor sent to loomis but i probably wont have the cash for that.. so i think im gonna give that mikuni a shot and just get it dialed in for next season.. Worst case scenario i have to drop 600+ into the motor to have it built again hehe..
I sent out 2 jugs to Pete 1-to cut up for my meth bike and then box em up & sent to get plated
the other is a GSS trail port jug for one of my trail AF bikes.
I am still needing an intake thats being built by John Howel for the 44 Lectron carb . I hope to have this bike built and diled in by Pismo.
I have all the other parts sitting in a box, as well as the overide bottom end polished setting on the bench waiting for the top end . its going to be a screemer.
