Good tack welder for beer cans

I'm hooked on this conversion thing. I am not really interested in investing the time or money to weld these myself, but it would make things 1000 times easier if I could tack things together myself before I send it out.
Is there a cheap way to do this? Can you get by with a little DC tig?

I never said I was a good welder

, and it wasnt my finger I burnt my leg with the welding rod. I burnt my finger on a stud

my frame was all notched so that wasnt a problem for me but it would be nice to hang all the brackets and stuff

I've got a wire feed mig from harbor freight. I plan on getting the aluminum spooler and a tank (I can probably "borrow" one from work)

since I've been using flux core for steel (ugly welds, but works)
The welder was like $120 and will weld some pretty heavy duty stuff, I think up to 1/4" steel
but you need a l6-30 220 volt jack, I installed one myself, lets hope no one ever notices.

I waqs thinking about even just using the mig for all the brackets and small stuff, so I only have to pay my welder to do the frame welds, since I want that all to be nice tig welds

this is what I've got, it was on sale when I got it, like %60 off (for that I couldn't come up with a reason not to buy it!)
I've been doing some research and quite a few people have used this unit for aluminum. I get a %20 discount from airgas because of my work, then all I need is the regulator and wire. They don't have a spooler gun for it, but a lot of peopel have been using the existing feeder without any issues.

Anyone with a Oxy / Acetylene torch can gas weld aluminum.

I dont mean with that muddy rod either, I mean really weld it.

A decent tig welder is easily $500. A MIG welder with enough heat control for Aluminum is easily also $500. With aluminum, heat control is EVERYTHING. I suck at welding aluminum, but I can weld steel like nobody's business. You'd be better off taking a class at a Junior College, to learn basics, then buy a decent welder to tack with. You can't do good work with SHIT tools. You want a harbor freight quality job, buy harbor freight tools.
