I'm not really a moron...I know there was a Clarke post...that I even replied too....but this is a 3.8 and he's discussing a 3.1.
Thanks for your understanding and input.

the 3.1 was easy to make fit, but still very tight, I wouldn't even think abotu a 3.7, look what happened to my IMS 3.7 when I tried too hard!

AlisoBob....I need the range just in case. If you get stuck on the backside of Mauna Kea at 14,000 ft you are pretty well isolated from the rest of the world until you get down. I know, I sheared my output shaft the farthest point from civilization during the Mauna Kea 200 2 years ago. They are very right...."it's lonely at the top". Also, it gets MIGHTY cold up there..in fact we still have snow on her.
Ok, so 3.1 is the hot one to get....
MAHALO!!
"Skiddy" (thanks AB)

I was actually looking at the "fuel tank wheels" on my buddies 2x2 Rokon. Now that would be truely creative...no?AlisoBob wrote:Skiddy, dont forget that you can always get creative...
1. Plumb the hollow frame spars ( about .75 gallon there)
2. Bulild a "under seat" tank.
3. Put a small "header" tank in the airbox.
You can get allot of fuel on the bike, if you try hard enough.
Thanks guys!....next question...silencers...see post
