California insurance requirements
I found out that effective 1/1/08
All California registered OHV's have to be insured.
What are the insurance requirements? Where can I get the OHV insurance at? Who has the best prices?

I have heard about this. Your auto insurance company should be able to cover your dirt bikes and if not I heard Progressive was pretty good for it.
From what I have read is that any licensed vehicle has to be insured and guess what that red or green sticker is? You guessed it, it's a license plate pretty much now. I'll be getting insurance on my bikes really soon here.

Probably, but that price includeds liability. Its not expensive at all. Like I stated, $75 per YEAR.90cr500guy wrote:I am thinking this is a liability requirementmxracr121 wrote:I pay $75 per year through Progressive. I always insure my bikes now. I had one stolen back in '03. I was very lucky and got it back. Most aren't. I don't take the chance anymore.
