Through The Rain and Snow............

Post by Steiner 311 »

The dirt haulers kept coming on! We experienced some weather last Sat. @ the ranch while trying to truck in as many yards of dirt as possible to build the landing ramp. Between Fri. and Sat. we got 30 trucks @ 14 yards a peice and 6 trucks got stuck on my property. With a lot of help from our riders and friends sticking it out through the freezing ass cold, we were able to hit the ramp later in the day Sunday!

Here's a few pics.

Hellbear and Tom, they share a room at the ranch

Swarm Global rider, Cory Rolin after getting stuck in the whiteout on the powerline, shortly after it started snowing.

Me, wondering if I'm gonna see anymore dirt today.

We're still working!

Having too much fun in the snow and on the little bikes.

Stuck belly dump, son of bitch pitched the turn about 6 feet short and almost overturned his rig!

Some of the boys not wanting to get wet, PUSSIES!! Hang on, I see me and my wife in there, shit and I'm in my slippers!LOL

Some of our land in the whiteout.

We needed to blow off some energy, so we dragged a bedliner behind the quad, Cory got tossed at like 30 MPH!!! Had to take a second shower to avoid frostbite! LOLOLOL

First ever hit off the ramp on Sunday, amazing how fast the weather changes this time of year.

Some more pics.

In sequence, one of the funniest pics I've seen! This is "Fat" Matt, good buddy and hard worker, can ride the hell out of his 450 for his size too!

Yeah it does. They were hitting it in 2nd going pretty slow then rolling it on as soon as they hit the ramp where it's set up at the moment.

I hope you guys can come join us soon, a couple more minor issues to deal with on the landing, but fully functional now. Next, on to the track, I have it marked out, just need to truck in more dirt and fill. I'm telling you guys, it's Gods land out there! Right now the ramp is set at only 30 feet, pretty easy to seat bump it, yeah I'm sure even Brit can do it. :D We've moved it back once to 40 feet and still didn't seem too difficult. I have no problem moving the ramp back and forth for you guys, so come hit it!! I'll keep posting pics as we move forward.
