That 6.1 hemi is a ballsy ass motor too, the advertise it at 420 horse but Ive personally seen a bone stock 300 SRT8 pull 405 RWHP on the dyno so considering driveline loss they are well over 420 at the motor.
Coolness list by 90cr500guy
Bob's = 50/50
Cepek = cool
Solidbro = cool
Brit = loser
Stoffer = 1 up from Brit
MFDB = cool
Danny = ok

That's like the original 426 Hemis. They were rated at 425HP but when Dyno'd they pulled 800HP.britincali wrote:That 6.1 hemi is a ballsy ass motor too, the advertise it at 420 horse but Ive personally seen a bone stock 300 SRT8 pull 405 RWHP on the dyno so considering driveline loss they are well over 420 at the motor.

yeah, mopar was always the king of under rating the power to keep the gov't out of it!
Yeha, I like the new challanger more than the new camaro. Although, I hate the new trends with the chargers. Home boys putting dubs and bling all over a v6 charger... its GAY.
theres a guy at my work with like $15,000 in crap added to his v6 charger and it makes me want to vomit!

Ahh, HEMI!!!
I had a super sweet '68 Hemi Charger back when I was 19(Ok, back when Jesus was a kid for u smart asses) I sold it in 88 for 12K.
After seein a few on ther Barret Jackson and the pricetag, I now understand why I drink so damn much

Mopar values are just insane. The HemiCuda 'verts are the only ones fetching over a million right now, but winged cars and regular coupes aren't far behind. Next in line are the 2nd gen Chargers (68-70), then everything else. The prices have skyrocketed in the past couple years, although this past year's Barrett-Jackson had $$$$ amounts a bit more inline with reality.
I have a '68 Charger R/T that I've owned since the end of 2001. It was a pile of rust, we did the bodywork on it a year and a half ago, now it's sitting in my garage unloved as I'm petrified of even touching the thing to reassemble it. I miss being able to drive it everywhere, holes in the floors, loud-ass exhaust, 4.30 gears, no overdrive with a V-gate 4 speed, and the obnoxious Mopar .509 cam that sounds like 3/4 of a pro stocker at idle.
Now:

Then:

You wouldn't believe the number of parts I've broken on it over the years...
