Michigan dude checking in!

A quick "How ya'Do", and a photo would be nice.

Thanks for the wishes of good luck. I'm going to need it. :D

I know at least 3 of my friends here in Detroit have dirtbikes now, we're going to attempt planning one trip per month, from April-October. Want to at least get up to Ogemaw and ride the trails up there, couple trips to Silver Lake, possibly the Badlands in Attica, Indiana (already done that once in a truck), Baja in Frankenmuth, and I might head out to Pittsburgh for a week of riding, too. I'll have to post our schedule when we figure it all out.

Baja is fun. BEWARE though ! If you are not a track rider, you will get run over. Baja Acres is one of the harder tracks in Michigan, aside from Red Bud. I can tell you this, you will have no problem sleeping the night of the Baja outing. Let me know when you get up to Ogemaw. I am up there riding every other week. We can meet up.

My coworker (rides tracks exclusively...doesn't do trail/freeriding at all) wants me to come out to Log Road when they open on March 8th, and Baja as soon as they open too. I've heard Baja is sandy and quite fast. Of course, I know 2 people off the top of my head that have been removed from there in an ambulance, so I'm really hesitant to go out to Baja, being very new to a big bore bike. We'll see.

I'll definitely let you know when we head up to Ogemaw!
