Nice bike, and corngrats! Now as for that everyone was home watching football comment, listen here. I spent thursday through sunday at Glamis, and found time to see some football in between rides. Thanks to my buddy with the toyhauler equiped with a sweet direct tv pirate box, I even got in alittle Playboy channel. :lol:

Did the airbox mod tonight. Checked over the entire bike... only issue found was that the bolt that the clutch lever pivots on was loose.

Bike is ready for next weekend. It might rain during the week. If it rains too much, I may be forced to work Sat.

hey bob did you use your engine bolts from the 500 motor or from the crf frame? also will the 250r airbox fit in the x subframe? if so im thinking of buying an r airbox and using the 2000 cr250 boot. whatcha think?

Lower bolt is Honda, upper one is Grade 8.8 Hardware store.

As for as the airbox and boot, I have no idea...

I've had the bike out 3 x now.... with the exception of the airbox snorkel,not 1 single issue.

I'm going to strip it down before the '08 HoonFEST at Terence's place to add the battery and wireing for the lights and double check everything.

If anybody needs detailed photos of any part of the bike, say so now.

I may be assisting Danny Graves on building a sister to mine...

Its getting me excitied all over again!

ya, when I put my foot down about my expectations out of the deal, he backed out, even though it was a kick-ass deal. Oh well, I am keeping my eyes open for another gen-3 or 4 to do soon!
