Nevada caucus

Post by dannygraves »

so I went yesterday, I think i'm the only on out of everyone I know. I voted. I wanted to speak on my candidates behalf, but some crazy bitch beat me to it and had absolutely nothing to say :x .
I voted for McCain. I like Huckabee, but his religious stuff is a little too much for me.
So, one person stood for each candidate to speak and no one had anything important to talk about, all they could talk about were family values, and I honeslty don't give a f@#$ about family values, I care about the war and the economy, I don't give a rats ass about abortion or gay marriage and think restricting stem cell research is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard of!
In my whole district, 32 people showed up. 16 of which from the same church and came as a group. the mormon church group all voted for Romney and ruined it for the rest of us. McCain got 9 votes, Paul 3, huckabee 2 and I can't remember the rest. very disappointing
Religion is taking way to big of a part in this
Then my mother in law who is actually a republican re-registered as a demacrat just so she could vote for hillary! :x She only voted for her because shes a fucking woman   and she told me she did that because women are good business managers and running the country is like running a business!!! Fuck that!!! its NOTHING like running a business, its a god damn country!!!!! GGGGOOOODDDDD I am sooooo pissssssed!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

thanks, I'm a firm believer in that you can't complain if you don't do your part. I did my part, now I can complain

You ABSOULTLY can!!!!!

In 2008, illegals can still vote because no proof of citizenship is yet required.

Here is the CA state voting site: http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm

California Secretary of State - Elections & Voter Information - Voter Registration

A non citizen was registering people to vote the other day at hispanic market near a jobsite I have....

.....Seems our government does not want to secure the voting system.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INDIVIDUALS USING

THE NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION CARD

TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN CALIFORNIA

Federal and state laws require you to provide your California driver’s license or California identification number.

If you do not have a California driver’s license or California identification number, you must provide the last 4 digits of your social security number.

If you do not have a driver’s license/state identification number or a social security number, the state will assign you a unique number.

I wonder who that last line is aimed at?

Who May Register to Vote
You may register to vote if you meet the following criteria:

You are a United States citizen
You are a resident of California
You are at least 18 years of age (or will be by the date of the next election)
You are not in prison or on parole for conviction of a felony
You have not been judged by a court to be mentally incompetent to register and vote

Rule #1 screws me, and I would never do anything illegal.......
