found a sweet carb on ebay for cheap, however he listed it as a pwk39as and as far as my knowledge(not saying much) is that only the 39 is not an "as" so i asked for the part number on the side and g279 akfg is what he posted. here is the link. which carb is it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0198161034

I got mine for cheep used off a kx500, then had to buy a needle, and jet it, then I had to replace the gasket and clean it out and replace the idle screw, etc. etc I honestly would have rather purchased new jetted to my spec, bolted it on, fine tuned and walked away.
