Sam Houston National Forest Ride

Post by jbird_710 »

Sorry, it's not a CR500 ride - still working on the 2001 I got last summer to turn it into a trail bike. For some reason, they're kinda strick about the spark arrestor thing there. Also need to figure out a way to filter out the wind noise.

Those were cool. The first one was a strange audio experience, second one was easier on my ears for sure. That area looks fun, alot of trees and tight twisties. Them 4 smokes are loud though, I'm almost deaf from just the video.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm still a noob at the video thing. I'm trying to figure out a way to filter out the wind noise but still get everything else. I tried putting some foam over the mic on the camera for the second one and it worked better; but it's still not right. Guess I'm just going to put music in place of the actual sound like Mojo (or maybe it was someone else?) in the Glamis video. I want to get one of my CR500s setup for the woods; just need to make the time to do it.

Here's one from the next day. I had a problem with the sound recording so I "borrowed" the Foghat tune to go with it (it just seems to fit). Camera got a little sideways in the second half of it. Last weekend reminded me how much I love living in SE Texas in January!
