the last granny update

After fighting hard for 20 days after her surgery she passed away on Dec 26 just after 8pm. My brother and I were getting off the elevator to visit her as she passed. We both had high hopes as did the doctors. She had good days and bad days, but everyone thought she as going to recover. In the end, her heart gave out. She lived a full outgoing life up to the day she went into the hospital. She would've turned 86 yrs old next Thursday, Jan. 3. As I mentioned before, she was our last family member besides my son. My brother and are both devastated.

that sucks to hear man. but i know how you feel. i was sitting next to my dad at the hospital, i walked down to the cafeteria for a drink, went back up the elevator and to his room, he died in the few minutes i was gone. best of luck my freind and hope it all goes well for you

I hope you can take some comfort knowing that its all in the cycle of life.

Love the ones your with today, because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
