rekluse pro clutch

I'm looking at stuff for my bike rebuild ,it's a 1991 500
I was on rekluse's site and it say their clutch fits 92-07 what the heck?

will this fit my bike ? if not can I make it fit?

I think they are referring to the fact that Service Honda is still building cr500AF's thus the continueing years past 2001.

I have one and don't plan on getting rid of it...so far

Since the 500 has a tall 1st gear and tended to stall on me quite often because of it and probably my fault as well, I wanted to try it to see if it would cure my ills. It did, big time!!

The down side is a good part of the motors character is lost with the addition of it. That way down never say die luggability the motor is known for is replaced by slipping clutches before hooking up.

That's the bad. The good is it never stalls unless you set the idle too low...objects, any objects, hills, technical crap that would give you pause is a joke now and you find yourself either getting lazy or picking tougher lines cause now ANYTHING is possible

I ride Hare Scrambles, Enduros, qualifiers, and technical single track and the Rekluse is the deal for this kind of riding. Other types of riding may not require a auto crutch

how do they work on hills? i heard a rumor that if you feather the throttle on a hill it can slip and mess you up. have you felt anything like that?

Kind of cool to pull up to the line in third and just rool it on. No stall just accelerate.

So it basically works like the clutches in the old three wheelers, but better? What about if you want to shift down going up a hill? Can you describe how it feels/works?
Do you have to let the rpms drop all the way down before you shift?

No on the one I road you just pull in on the clutch and down shift.
You can also slip the clutch while under full throttle.
