1987 CR500

Picked up this 87 off of the 2nd owner a few days back for a grand. Put a new plug and gas in it, kicked it probably 50 times before figuring out the tricks and kick method, and she fired up! This is my first 500 and I've wanted one for many years.

Here's the list to be done. Keeping this as a dunes bike primarily.

1. New red front fender
2. Ditching the stock pipe for an FMF Gnarly + Powercore Silencer
3. Taming the power with a 15oz Steahly FWW
4. New grips
5. New reeds?? What do you all recommend? Worth it? I think they're stock.
6. Find a spare gold wheel for a paddle tire

Anything else you guys recommend? Thanks for looking and for any advice.
