Clutch replacement

Post by hankbgood »

Awesome forum! Picked up a 1995 CR 500 a few months ago and I have been going through all the issues. Running pretty good but looks like the clutch is the next replacement. I use the bike to trail ride with my son. What recommendations for a clutch replacement? I saw some Tusk steel plates pretty cheap. I appreciate the help...

I've got the same question. I looked at the Tusk as well. Last time I changed a clutch in a 250 I used Barnett, which I've been told is the best. When I was done I couldn't hardly pull in the lever so I put the old springs back in. I'm looking forward to hearing feedback from others on this.
