First of all I want to thank everyone for prayers sent.

Well, today is day 5 after the surgery. ( remember only 50 percent survive the actual surgery ) We found out from the doc that the aneurism was on her Aortic arch, upper and lower, and when he went in the Aorta was literelly shredded....so basically her heart nearly burst open in her chest, plus the collapsed vein supplying blood to the heart muscle, not to mention the leaking valve that also had to be repaired........ On Monday her systems started to crash and she was having problems with the flow that the heart was producing, even though the heart has been beating strong ever since they zapped her on Saturday....which turned out to be 3 times, not 2. Tuesday night they decided to put her on dialysis because her kidneys couldnt handle all the meds that they are dripping into her. Today they decided that she only needs to have her blood filtered for about 3 hrs. a day. Hopefully her kidneys will heal up and start working properly. As long as that happens and she doesnt get any type of infection, all the docs are leaning towards the slight possibility that she just might come out of this. The thing I hate the most is the damn ventilator tube jammed down her throat. She cant talk, swallow, cough, lick her lips. If they could just remove it soon she would be 1000 times more comfortable. I swear this is an emotional roller coaster because it was so sudden, and like I mention in my first post, she is the only family member my bro and I have left, besides my son.
