the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

94 and earlier motor is what everybody uses any way bob , besides more tire speed with the taller gear is better for moto,that's why they always look for more mid to top end power

What are you talking about that motor was made for mx.
If you cant handle the 500, you certainly cant handle a 1000cc streetbike.
But.....Since Im going to get a new 2012 CBR1000 Im selling my 06 CBR1000.

Saw my old Boss buy a boat for 30g because he wanted to get into fishing, had to have a truck to pull it so he spent another 40g or something on a super duty diesel.....one summer and he decides it's not for him. I think he got around 20 out of the truck and 15 or so for the boat. I would shoot myself if I lost that much money on a deal......but I am an old P.O.S. driving hoarder..so what do I know.
