Hey everyone.......I am in the process of building my first GEN 1 AF.....do I have to go to Service Honda (rather not) to obtain a pipe and silencer or can I make the CR500 pipe and silencer work on my GEN 1 frame?

SH is not required. Standard pipe/silencer will work fine. You need to mod the rear mount.

right on!! You guys are top notch!! And don't worry about the coil adapter......fortunatly/unfortunatly I jumped the gun and bought a coil adapter off Flea Bay for $25 before I found this site. But I appriciate the great reception and I will get that thread started as soon as I snap some pics!!
