What is the best carb for a ported cr500 99

Im looking for a larger carb for my 99 500, it is ported, just wondering what size seams to be the best and brand, also were to buy?

gp ice racing and supermotto maybe a little mx .It is ported for more mid to topend power and thats what im looking for. I don;t want a carb that you set the idle buy turning the choke either,

38mm pwk AS will work great for MX, for the other aplications I would think you would want a 39.5 or a 41mm pwk.

My 38 is taper bored to 41+ so I get good throttle response and decent top end too.

Who did you port work?

Hi! I also have a -99 with ported cylinder and some other stuff. I use my bike for iceracing too. I have a Coolhead 66cc, Dynoport MT big volume pipe, power reeds and a PWK 41,5mm. I can't say that i have lost much bottom end power because of the carb. It works perfect. Good idling and easy to jet.
