I called cpi and said they would have to send a pipe with out the rear section welded for me to rotate and weld . My bike is a 87 so do you guys think just by rotating the rear of the pipe every thing will line up. Seems a little to easy.
My motor has 200* and 130* timing so is there another pipe that will work close that doesnt require welding to fit?

Maybe dyno port on the pipe?
You are ported right for the CPI.
Could order it welded and see if it fits, then cut and rotate and reweld if it does not. What are we talking about it hitting, the water hose that goes to the back of the cyl?
I have one I could stab onto a 91 steely and take some photos of the clearance if you would like. May take me a bit to get a round to it. I have been looking for "round to its" for a long time, they are hard to come by.

No on the older bikes the pipe goes way higher up by the air box and on the newer bikes lower about 6 inches. Cpi said all i would have to do is rotate the stinger end and it would line up.I highly doubt that.I tried a stock pipe ,a pc and a out of frame drag pipe and the drag pipe was awesome thats why i was wanting a cpi but they dont make one for my year.If i could find a newer chassis i would go that route because both my forks and rear shock is blown. Probly dreaming but i would love to get a 2001 (last year bike).
