o1 cr250 rear wheel interchange

Post by freeride588 »

Was wondering what years rear wheel would fit my o1 cr250 gen 2. The axle and hub look to be the same but the rotor and sprocket look to be different or at least have different part numbers. any help would be awesome thanks.

The sprockets are all the same, I'm a little fuzzy on the brake disc, I think 97-01 are the same and use a shouldered Allen head bolt with an 8mm hole. 02-2011 are the same size and bolt pattern but have a 10mm head bolt with an 6mm hole.

You on a 2001 should be able to use a complete rear wheel from any CR or CRF that is newer than you bike, so long as the wheel has the right brake disc and bolts for that wheel.

(the newer brake disc hub tabs are tiny in appearance compared to the 2001)
