I found this on the 2 stroke site, thought some of you would like it.
He says he's gonna line up in the 450A class this weekend with it.

Sometimes it seems like the camera can be a little deceptive in that (to me) it doesn't show the speed of the rider. Not in this case. That guy's fuckin' HAULIN! On an outdated piece of machiney incapable of keeping up to a 4-stroke. Or some would have you believe. Is that the track in Texas where that guy (86CR500?) from San Antonio rides? Cool track.

I bet he'd be faster yet if he went up a gear instead of revving it so much.

..but then he wouldn't seem like he was haulin ass.

i wish i could ride track that good....
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

That's the problem I have when I get on the big bikes.
I rode the 480 like a 125 at Diamond Dons and it almost bit me over one of the jumps.
The 480 feels "flickable" like a small bike, and you get caught up in all the sensations.
For me, I guess it happens because I ride a lot of different bikes.
I've made a mental note to short shift every time I crank one of the big bores.
