Heres the piston STUCK IN THE BRAND NEW BORE!
"Bob,The hole in the back of the piston has to be there for the trail porting and being off center is ok, if the piston is stuck in the cylinder you should hone clear through but if the piston don't stick it's the coating,If you will notice the piston is stamped factory 89.94 mm on the top not 90.00mm, ,the piston was recoated after we ran on a short block with a electric mtr.,My helper james helps me,He said he ran the hone back through the ring area after the run of the cyl.to get a good cross hatch for the rings,,
The cyl. was bored with a torque plate and should work well on pump gas.The offset of the transfer intakes is on the flow bench that's how it flowed best.glen"
