The way I see it . sure maybe AJ could build them better , but his business is working fine , using the system that is already in place . I agree with AJ , to build a home build with ALL NEW parts , the price is about right . And lastly I don't know many other businesses that are willing to share valuable information to homebuilders to help with their project , the way AJ does . chill out people seems to be alot of chit flying around , just cause someone used someone elses identity to get more hits on their item .regardless of wether you later state , that your bike is indeed NOT a service honda , you still mislead potential buyers to get their attention . At the end of the day , we all have a common interest , keeping the mighty cr500 up to date and ALIVE!

Hey, misleading the American public IS the American way.

Caveat Emptor is not an American term but certainly applies.
Just listen and watch.
It's all around us.
Until the liberals get their way and make life fair (ain't gonna happen), that's the way it is.
I don't really know why AJ is doing what he's doing because that one bike is not cutting into their sales.
It's probably just a way of getting a lb of flesh from Bob.
I still think AJ and Bob should sit down over some Cobras and talk about pussy or politics, after they find out they have some things in common they could talk scooters.
Or, maybe Brit could cook up something to drink?

1. Dont befriend a crack-head.

Ive spent a lot of time and a lot of money to try to get people the parts / frames / money back. I havent been 100% successful.

I've said it many times AJ, I may not care for S/H bikes, but you have delivered every one that was ever ordered.

As somebody new to the conversion scene, I would like to thank AJ for
all of his help with my project. I know he is in the business to sell new
500 conversions, but that did not stop him from providing much needed
assistance and expertise every time I asked. To me, that's what is
really important and what's needed to keep this iconic engine on the
track and trail.

I also picked up a lot of useful info from this sites, all this helped me
negotiate the many "gotchas" that come with this kind of project.

Politics and personal attacks aside, I think most of us are in this for
the fun and the passion we have for the 500.

Just my two cents, now let the bickering continue.

Fachar, wow. blast from my past. I remember when the focus of my life was getting my frame from Fachar. great work though when I finally got it after 4 months. Bob put in quite a bit of time on my behalf.

I was racing a couple weeks ago..
and I suddenly noticed the very last piece of bobs sanity laying on the side of the track!! Whoa!!

So I just had to stop and get it back to him.. !!

frekin' crashed in the process though (hence the broken collarbone)

actually-
unknown to me during the race...
my buddy was for some reason takin photos in the corner proceeding this,,
as i'm going over the bars i hear
"AJ! i got it! i got it!"
hell i hadnt stopped tumpling yet.. that #$%$er!! LOL

it has to be a mini bike wheel set size- 16/19 as largest,
and an aircooled 4 stroke engine XR100, CRF150, TTR125 , KLX140 etc.

There's a long standing friendly BIG rivalry with another local honda shop..
that we all build up pit bikes and bang bars.lol
A ton of fun and suprisingly usually a big class..
(its a whole series)

Our Junior R an X's have watercooled CRF250R or X engines,
so wouldnt fit that class..lol

Anyway that's is a pit bike i made:
its a CRF150R ,with a CRF150F , E- start engine in it.

its 41 pounds lighter than a CRF150F

fun bike, especially for the woods , generally dinkuing around ,
or a pit bike race.
(and still fast enough to spit you off and get hurt. little bikes seem prone to that)

we did jokingly call them a junior Y
(as in *Y* build that?)

I've done quite a few over the years-
XR100's into CR85's , or into CRF150R's..

this is on with a XR100 engine in it ..at a local SX race.

Yup.
XR100-great pit bike and can be used to pull bikes off too!
It was kinda funny seeing that XR100 towing a Maico or Husky to get started!
I took one to Gatorback and rode around 3 days.
The seat wedges in your ass though!
